Hi all

We had notification via solicitor that the CPS had accepted charges on the 21st March. The email forwarded from the OIC said she was doing the mail petition for charges that day.

We still haven't received it - that's 4 weeks tomorrow. Any ideas if this is normal? What this might mean?

The limbo is killing me.

hi we waited about 2 weeks from the oic calling to receiving the letter.
if theyve told you the charges and that cps have authorised then it could just mean it's sat on someone's desk! X

Hiya ladies.

Hubby had his letter and charges. It's happened quickly. They got the charges then wrote everything up and magistrates court date.

Hi Chelsea

Thats what I mean. It seems so strange to me that it's been so long!! I'm wondering what the hold up is. But as Jay says. It could just be say on someone's desk.
but the waiting is ridiculously unfair.

Hiya scaredlamb.

Just spoke to hubby.

He said when he went for his second interview middle of December/21 they said this was the quick bit.

It got sent off to CPS on 24/1/22. Heard back beginning of April/22. Sat with the police for 2 weeks then they posted it.
