What to expect from Magistrates Court

So Tuesday week hubby is going to magistrates court.
What can we expect ?
Will both addresses be read out or can we state that he doesn't live at old address anymore.
Plus how long till crown court.?

Ahh good luck for Monday week x
When my son went it only lasted 10 / 15 minutes, they read out his name and address and he had to confirm then charges read out but not in full detail that will be at crown court! His barrister was asked what his plea was and that was it they then set a date for crown which was 6 weeks after bit has been cancelled twice since then! Waiting on a new date for sentencing x

Yes I was told alot of it is a anticlimax and then wait until the crown.
