So I've just got off the phone to my partner, he's spoken to his solicitor who was in court all day yesterday and only fount out what he got this morning. He filed for an appeal this morning before even speaking to my partner. So the ball is now rolling. Fingers crossed for us xx

Feeling a bit more positive now.
Yes lee sticking with the same one. I rang around a few solicitors earlier and they wouldn't take him on because he's already been sentenced and in prison and there won't be enough time to do the appeal if he changed. Just so relieved his solicitor done it before being asked about it xx

I'm not too sure. To be fair though she gave such a good fight but the judge just weren't having any of it. A 30 minute sentencing turnt into 1hr and 30minutes because she really wasn't backing down xx

Hi Daffodil :)

The solicitor couldn't believe it he was shocked and filled for the appeal straight away. I'm okay less teary today (so far) but it's only 8am :(. I'm going to do a little searching after the school run to see if there is a way of complaining about the judge.
The only positive is his SHPO states his aloud supervised contact with children under 16. So now I'm going to have a fight with ss for contact for my kids xx

Hi Lee, the solicitor is sending that to my partner and he said he will send me one if I want one. It will be good if the barrister takes the appeal on because she did take a lot of crap off him xx

I'm not to sure what he said about the charge. It will be going in front of a different judge, there's a lot of things to go through before it happens :( altogether it's going to take about 5 months :( xx

Ah Nas that's great news that an appeal has already been submitted! I guess at least you have something to look forward to in a sense for the next five months with the hope of having the sentence reduced and then that'll be five months down and hopefully not too many more to go. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you! Xx

Thankyou baffled xx

Ive had a look at it online and it's saying you can't complain about the judges decision, but you can complain about the way he was. I think I'm going to do that.
I will keep you all posted xx

I've been following this thread. The sentence seem to be very extreme and the application so the sentences don't run concurrently.

I hope the appeal goes well and quickly.
