council house with hubby on rui

Hi guys,
so yesterday we was finally offered a council house after we lost our home as it was attached to hubbys job that he also lost. Problem is today questions have been asked about my husbands case and now she has got to speak to her manager to see if we are still allowed to offer us it. We never mentioned about him being rui as we never was given the chance and the oic had told us to not tell many and carry on like normal.
The house we was offered is in a very rural location with hardly any other houses around us and the nearest school is miles away. I believe we will have a neighbour on one side of us. Im now worrying we will lose this house, has anyone else had anything like this happen?
If i lose this house i have no idea what i'm suppose to do as if the council wont house us where am i suppose to go?

He isn't on sor and has no bail conditions at all. That's what I couldn't understand. I'm hoping she was just having to double check it was ok with her manager as I really liked the house. I'll be sure to contact them if it comes back that we've lost it.
