Following advice on here I contacted the solicitor about character reference and thankfully the judge took my comments into consideration.
My son got 3 years probation and community service. 5 years on notification. 5 years SHPO.
I really hope everyone else gets a happy outcome and we can all start to rebuild our lives again.
