We're just about 3 months since the knock and my partner has finally been released under investigation so no more bail conditions. We know it's not changed anything in terms of his case but it's the first bit of good news since the knock, it's definitely a bit of a relief for us, we can now have some sort of normality whilst we wait god knows how long for the next stage :)

We know the investigation is going to take a long time in my partners case, we were told by the police to expect a lengthy case as my partner is considered a low risk so they will keep pushing his case to the bottom of the pile so to speak. My partner was arrested in Feb and we definitely expect this to still be going on in Feb next year but we're just glad his conditions have been dropped as the conditions he was given were causing a lot of stress on us, we live with my parents so a lot of us were having to put life on hold for his conditions. Fortunately we don't have any children so not much SS involvement, only to do with a young family member that occasionally stayed at the address.
