So, magistrates done.

That was an experience... So essentially my partner refused a solicitor during the Initial arrest and confessed everything. Because he did that and there was a lot more he could have been charged with I e. Distribution.... That would have involved a lot more work and the solicitors think that because he was honest and came clean and they don't see him as a threat to do this again, they are just going with the three images.

The requested caution was refused by the officer in charge because he confessed which was really annoying. However the solicitor noted if he had said no comment in the interviews that could have been ground to pursue the distribution side of things... So it's a small silver lining...

Prepobation hearing is up next in 6 weeks time... Also they spoke about the undiagnosed autism assessment and reform during the plea hearing so that was good ...

They said he's looking at pote totally a community order for 2 years but again we never know...

You know that's funny, the police said to my partner it's going to be four hours until the solicitors arrive... Then on the phone last week we were told by the solicitors that it was a lie, that's something they always feed people and they can be there within an hour...

I had to walk out of the briefing room before the hearing because the solicitor mentioned everything word for word and the age range of one of them caught me very off guard...

I calmed down, digested everything and then went back in...

It sounds like my partner had he not been caught would've gone down an even darker hole... 'Luckily', said with a very lose definition it was arousal of the men he was chatting with he was after... The images themselves were I think the start of a porn addiction, which I've always maintened he never had... But I think left unchecked, he would had it grow into a porn addiction... Seeking out darker things to fulfill his confusion over his sexuality...

I can understand why he did what he did... it doesn't mean that it didn't hurt to hear. So luckily six weeks until we know the result.

Anyone got an tips for Prepobation report ?

It's so frustrating Daffodil but we're trying to look at it in a positive light in that atleast they're not going to great lengths to investigate the distribution... Plus the community service will give him access to things he'd have to wait a while to get...
