Hey, can't really give any advice but wanted to give you a big virtual hug, fighting with everyone is exhausting, I know, be kind to yourself, do something for you today, even if it's just a walk, a coffee or something nice to eat, I know you can't switch your Brian off but sometimes I just take a day off, especially when stressed to the max. hope this helps xx

Daffodil, consider yourself hugged. It sounds as if you're doing everything in your power - I hope you make some progress soon. As Newlady said, take some time out today and do something nice for yourself; get out in nature if you can xx

Daffodil,

Sending the biggest hug! It does feel like you hit brick walls a lot on this journey but we always seem to find a way around them. I hope you manage to find some help xx

Hi Daffodil

Sending you a virtual hug.

As you describe yourself as swimming in mud with a 100lb backpack on, have you thought about contacting you local Mind group for your wellbeing? there is also a good charity called RETHINK which offer help/support to carers which maybe available locally to you. Sometimes accessing help for yourself may open a door to get help/support for your son.

The young person in our family who is on the autistic spectrum accessed the Young People Inform Course run by Lucy Faithfull Foundation (same as Stop it Now) Have you looked into this for your son? We had the opportunity to speak with one of the Practioners who runs the course to discuss the adjustments needed before the course commenced.

I hope you day does improve. Remember you are doing your very best and take care of yourself. x

Sending you a huge hug Daffs Xxxxx

This journey is bloody shocking.

I'm so sorry you're coming up against brick walls- so disheartening. I hope a door opens for you soon.

My son wont talk about it at all at the moment. I dont know if I'm expecting too much right now. I'm feeling ready to be proactive but I guess I need to wait for him to feel the same.

Lots of love and strength x

A big hug from me. I read your posts and the support you give others, you're amazing.

Give yourself a break from thinking for a time. Pick up the phone and chat to a friend about nothing in particular.

Wish I could come and hug you personally to show we really do care
