So after 1 year and 2 days my hubby has magistrates tomorrow.
I am so nervous and really don't know what to expect.
he is meeting solicitor there to go through evidence and what he should plea - I would have expected he would have done that before but aparently not!
Hubby hasn't had any bail conditions so far, is he likely to get any on the day?
Any advise?

Hi,

Just wanted to wish u good luck, and to be honest I would have thought that too over wat he was pleading. It doesn't take to long and it was only me and hubby and solicitor in there really as we were still under restrictions.

Good luck tomorro scared...

His solicitor will likely talk him through the case against him... Then he'll be asked what his plea is ... Then adjourned until they can build a pre sentence report over the next few weeks ... This is the time to showcase all of the work he's done.

Hi all

Thabk you for your kind words.
it was actually ok. His barrister was lovely and really helped us. She has said what she thinks the culpability and harm are and therefore the possible sentencing- she thinks suspended. We had to option to go through all the evidence in detail but hubby didn't want that. He knows what he's done. I also had the option but chose to just read the highlights. That's enough. I know the man he is now and the work he has done. I don't need to read the whole chat logs.

He pleaded guilty to all charges (attempting 2 comms 2 attempting to engage). And he has pre sentencing report 7th June and awaiting to hear confirmation that sentencing will be 16th June.

He went directly to sign on the register abs we have been given the draft SHPO (internet restrictions and no unsupervised with under 16s without SS say so - will be getting it in writing that doesn't include our daughter though we would wait for SS anyway).

On the way home we listened to our daughters "dance party" playlist and got milkshakes. We made the best of it.

Thank you for sharing. I'm glad it was ok.

We are not at charges yet but it helps to get an idea of what will happen.

Glad this parts over for you both, hope it's a good outcome, you've a good attitude to it all but juat prepare for a custodial, just in case, it's all down to the judge on the day and will be a terrible shock for youboth. Thats what we are doing too when we eventually get to court xxxx

Hi Newlady.
oh I know to prepare. I'm kind of expecting custodial to be honest. As that's the kind of luck we have!! His prison bag is packed already xx
