Who reads the letters/emails I sent to prison. My person and I exchanging them but some of them are very personal and intimate, including some of my own personal feelings, troubles and battles.

It feels odd that it might be a prison officer on his wing would read these, but I don't know if it's them or someone else?

Evening SAL

Hope you are keeping ok and your person is doing ok?x

I know emails are printed by certain prison officers and put in an envelope and then given to our loved ones , any letter that is sent in they have to photo copy them first as they cant have the originals however I wouldn't worry to much as you can imagine they must get a lot been sent in etc so they just check them to make sure there is nothing untowards written etc

Not sure if this helps you but honestly dont worry yourself to much xx

I'm sure they don't read everything in a letter or email it'd take too long... I think they perhaps have a quick scan through and obv know what to look out for.

im sure they've 'read all sorts! As long as there's no security threat I'm sure they're not bothered.....
