Hi, I'm really worried for my boys and how they will find it at school once everything comes out in the media.

We have not got charges yet, but it will be soon (iioc) and I'm terrified of how the boys will cope at school.

We are signed off by ss at the min, so I know they will become back involved and school said that when the time comes support will be given but not said how/what.

Has anyone any advise or experience of "the other side"

Hi,

My teenagers coped but they're not his and don't have his surname. Have you considered changing your partners surname before charges are made? You can also speak to the oic regarding media, I don't completely trust that this will happen as they said they would not allow media in my partners case and they did but then requested it be taken down but it had already been picked up by other papers and been seen so it was a pretty pointless exercise. I hope you are able to get some advice on here. Sending love xx

Thank you for your reply, I have asked about a name change, husband isn't keen so asked the solicitor if worth doing and he said he didn't think so as very unlikely to go in media. That has not calmed any anxiety I have though.
