Lovely call. He's spent most of today outside in the gardens, makes such a massive difference, which I'm sure your son is discovering.

Today was the first time out with the other inmates, he said it was so strange but some were in there own groups and how calm it was
He was given his own stuff he brought over from remand today as they had to keep it for 72 hrs

Hi upset - your son will soon get chatting to the others I'm sure. Yes, this type of prison is so much calmer - as I said my son has never felt unsafe. It's good he's got his bits & bobs now.

Thanks Lola - you read such desperately sad experiences on this Forum (incl mine) and I just like to emphasise even in this journey there is fun - there is laughter, it doesn't disappear....
You get ' the knock' and it really feels like it's the end of the world. It really isn't - I just appreciate so much any lighter moments which I like to share! Hope it might bring a smile to a few sad faces xxx
