Sounds a good plan Newlady...... I tell my lad every day that passes is a step up the ladder. You start at the bottom then it's up - up - up!!!

Hi Smile, hope your ok x

Got home just after 2 we left at 6 it was so good to see him x

What a difference a prison is compared to remand

We were able to order drinks and a lot of treats for him as in crisps he hasn't had for nearly 9 months, chocolate cake he was like a pig in s##t lol x

But it was so relaxed we wernt on edge as the guys are all in for SO so not mixed like remand was

He is ok so that for me at least settles me xx

Hope your lad is ok and I gave my son loads of hugs for all us mums xx

Hi upset, your post has given me comfort and I'm so glad you had such a relaxed visit. Knowing they are feeling 'safe' makes a whole lot of difference.

i think the SO prisons focus on rehabilitation and just being there is the punishment element. No one discusses what they are in for, and it's zero tolerance, so no fear of being targeted.

I'm glad he enjoyed his treats - my sons canteen is full of junk and why not!!!! Give yourself a pat on the back- you (and daughter) did it xxxx
