what a lovely memory Rick - Sad to hear the Queen has to rest up and step down from today's events.

I'm no royalist but it was lovely to see her happy smile on the balcony yesterday and the children doing what children do! I hope we get a glance of Harry and Megan's children before they jet back to America.

Hi Rick. How lovely to read about your fascinating memories. I thought the concert last night at Buckingham Palace was amazing - a real credit to our country- stunning lazer show.

After the horrors of Covid & lockdown it's just so wonderful to see people uniting and having fun isn't it?

Hi Upset - I just asked my son if they had any special treats to mark the jubilee, I was thinking ( perhaps ) a cupcake.

He said they'd all been issued with an information leaflet - explaining what it's all about etc. As if you didn't know anything about it, being locked up with just the tv for company!!!!!

It was a lovely jubilee weekend well as best as can be hoped for for all of us ..we are all going through hell at the moment..I remember joining the army as a 16 year old boy in the 80s I was greeted at Brookwood train station for the guards depot by a company sergeant major from Glasgow whom eat iron bars and drank battery acid for his 3 meals a day I was 5ft 10 inch and 9 stone wet through he put the fear of God in me but after 11 years 3 tours of northern Ireland and the first gulf War 6 years of living in Germany it turned me in a man without much fear and so very proud to be British .....the fear makes you stronger in the end

Hi Smile,

Hope you are both doing ok.xx

His two best friends decided they diddnt want anything to do with him once we had told them he was on remand as they were sending him messages as they had not heard from him so I phoned them to come round so I could talk to them face to face , it was awful honestly they were so upset but they decided to cut contact so.we have to respect them and the decision they have made x

My ex brother in law & his family have been just amazing and this really shows that some people are willing to keep in mind the person and not the crime they have done dont get me wrong they dont condone what he did but they know he is not a bad person and want to be there for him xx
