What is a charge notice?

Does that mean we are getting closer to the end?

What happens next?

The Charge Notice tells you exactly what the charges are and should also give you a date and time when the initial magistrates court hearing will be. So, yes, it does mean you're getting nearer to the end of this stage of the whole horrible process.

Time to get hold of the solicitor and decide on how to plea.

Hugs to you as this is a very hard time and brings everything back xxx

That you AnotherMum for replying. The solicitor said they couldn't do anything until the charge notice is received. Should they have already had it?

After almost two years of silence it is all feeling very real again.

Thanks Lee, hopefully it doesn't take too long for it to arrive. Knowing it is coming but not knowing what is coming is the worst.
