Great coverage of children impacted by the knock…..well done, I recognise the story of the ‘actor’……brilliant work! You know who you are! Good to hear ’children seen and heard’ being promoted. So sad though to hear that MOJ have no intention of changing the definition of victims despite attempts of my MP and others, and that there is no help for children of offenders that do not receive a prison sentence or other family members.

Found this refreshing to listen to and would help our friends coping with their and their children's needs. It reinforced my opinion debates and discussion on this crime are so desperately needed.
I find it so distressing that it is met with a concrete wall and a blanket public perception of these offenders. It could take years perhaps understanding never reached. (But) People need to open their eyes and break through through the barriers NOT just let the prisons fill up and not question why this crime happens and on the increase.
The prison my son is in is changing over from cat b to a VP cat c and each day the sweat box transports in more men. I just find the whole situation incredibly unfair and very very sad.

I honestly think that everyone wants us to be quiet as they are fearful as to what needs to be done in all areas. If we don't make a fuss everyone can carry on making huge amounts of money and meeting targets....
