On hubbys phone overnight in the Google search tab a green G and a symbol of a pen has appeared on his phone. Turned it off and on again and still there. I am wondering if the visor team have remotely installed it on software.

As said above it is an icon for everyone. My partner has software that was physically installed with him being present. I assume this would be the case for all offenders, as they need access to the devices to add the software. For my partner you can see it is on with a little icon on the top of the phone screen, very discreet
