I feel your pain Nellie. Try to relax as much as possible today, talk a walk together, go for lunch. Good luck for tomorrow x

Lee, just another question, solicitor says we can't get the PSR or SHPO until the day of court - im assuming by your post you got it beforehand, how do we go about this? X

Aww Lee that has thrown me into a quandary as the PO who did PSR and solicitor are saying he won't get it until the day. We meet prior to sentencing on the day to go through everything with a fine tooth comb. I would have liked to have slept on it, I like to be in control and I'm not! Am I correct in thinking the SHPO will have been drafted by OIC AND CPS? I have oic direct line if so could ask them?
I know there was a lady on here recently who didn't get a SHPO (although very rare) so that must have been decided prior to sentencing? Unless the judge threw it out? X

Oh and I have looked on cps website and can't see it, if you could point me to the correct section? X

Oh and Lee, I sent solicitor the cps extract saying he should have PSR and SHPO - he says he still hasn't got PSR and he understands my concerns but there will be ample time on the day to scrutinise SHPO as well face to face on the day!! X

My persons legal team basically said that it would be ready when it's ready and chasing the CPS wouldn't make it arrive any sooner. We received the PSR 4.45pm the day before sentencing, I can't help but feel that it was available but was sent at the last possible minute and the SHPO on the day.

I feel so angry about it now because I think they were just being lazy in not chasing it and I do wonder if there is anything on there that we might have fought if we'd had time to digest.

I wish I'd had the link Lee sent, I'd have pushed hard with my person to push his legal team.

I think they need to realise that whilst this might be an everyday occurrence for them, it's certainly not for us! I'm really annoyed and will be telling them tomorrow x
