Oh I wish we had a crystal ball. We are awaiting actual charges from CPS, but my partner/ex is likely to be charged with communicating with another adult about a child (age 11) and in excess of 100 images in all categories. We suspect a decoy but not confirmed yet. Two and half months in and while I'm just about coming out of the deep trauma stage (horrific devastation, revulsion, complete agony, fear, deep deep sadness for the impact on the future for our two boys), I am still in something of a state of disbelief that this is part of my life. How can this be? I can't see how he will avoid a custodial - a number of aggravating factors are in place. The custodial range is 4-14 years, and for a while I was terrified we'd be looking at the maximum. But from what I can see, sentences are typically in the range of 3-5 years. But there is no way of telling - all at the judge's discretion on the day. Meanwhile I am left to continue, and feel the relentless and increasing punishment for something I knew nothing about, and somehow prepare our boys for their dad going to prison, and then try to find a fraction of a percent of my time, energy and resources to attempt to take care of my own wellbeing. What ever happens, I have decided the punishment is for him to bear. We will not suffer for his wrongdoing, and while we will continue to support him as a much-loved family member, in the event he does go away, i am determined that me and the boys will live our best lives until the other side!

As already said it's impossible to guess BUT I did go back to find your info and can see your partner self-reported. This will definitely go in his favour and I would imagine he will get this taken into account x
