Hi,

Wonder if anyone has come across this situation....I am getting limited info from my 'partner' as to what is going on, he had a meeting with the solicitor and apparently the police have said that they are unable to get into the phone (they have had it for a year). What does this mean and what happens next?

Unfortunately I am being left hugely in the dark, and I am reaching the end of my tether with it all and his complete desire to shut me out when it has massivley impacted my life to be honest

Sometimes they can't access some phones/IT and they then will have to show what information they have their end. Just because they can't get into the phone doesn't mean it's over or there won't be charges.

There is another crime they can charge you with if they beleive you are withholding passwords but not likely in these cases.
