So we had the knock for my son January 21, he pleaded guilty at majistrates on the 21st of June, he signed onto the SOR a few days later & had a pre sentence report done a week later, he then got a letter asking him to reappear in court on the 12th July, which was only 4 days after he received the letter!! It didn't say why & didn't say which court, so we was worried it was sentencing & had previously been told to prepare for a custodial sentence & hope for a suspended one!! Anyway finally found out it was to give him the SHPO which hadn't been done previously, absolutely fuming at the system & he's had to have a barrister again another £500, it's now happening tomorrow as barrister was not available for the 12th! When we was trying to find out which court it was he phoned majistrates & I called crown court & they said he was listed for the 1st August for sentencing, I was in shock as we've not heard this from the police, solicitor or barrister & still haven't had it confirmed, the whole system is an absolute joke!!!!

So we are assuming it's on the 1st, we've not seen the PSR yet, do we get to see it? If so when? Also what else should we be doing to get ready for sentencing, in 2,weeks time, as our solicitor seems to be doing nothing!!!



Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm going out of my mind with worry xxx
