My son got the knock 17th March, he pleaded guilty at magistrate court and went to prison on remand. His time in there wasn't great and a few mess ups by the prison service lead us to apply for bail on 31st May and he came to live with me So all things have been done pre sentence report done last week we had a visit by visor team early Sunday morning now we wait until this Thursday 21st July day of sentencing. I have been dreading this week but it had to come at some point. I'm back to the sleepless nights the nightmares and the feeling of being lost. To be fair the probation has recommended a suppened sentence the visor team were really kind and said they feel it could be a suppened but as we all know nothing is certain we expect the worse and pray for the best xxx

Just had a call from the solicitor the court have pushed court date for sentencing back from tomorrow until 10th Aug due to a Barrister strike, my son head is all over the place now, we had prepared for tomorrow, but looking for a positive he is no longer in prison and this gives us a couple more weeks together

I know how you are feeling honestly you get yourself as ready as you can to then be told its cancelled we had that 3 times and as my son was on remand i had to break the news to him
It's a horrendous journey
