Hi
Can the police tell you what has been found on devices ect? He's told me some things but I think I want to know the truth.

Further to this question... Is there a way to see what images have been found? I said a while ago there were some "illegal" images + a video found but my partner wasn't charged with these. The barrister emailed us some stuff in preparation to the defence statement and she referenced a Cat A video which I'm not sure if she's confused or if the CPS have classified the video as that but I know what video it is and it certainly shouldn't be classified as illegal, let alone Cat A! Following this I was wondering how many people have exagerrated prosecutions and whether you get to argue what is what if that makes sense.
Ahh thanks Lee! I think there must be some confusion then because the video in question is subjective as to what actually happens, no genitals shown and was actually circulated on Instagram as a meme a couple of years ago, I remember seeing it myself. I thought that too, surely they would've had to charge if it was truly a cat A! I have a feeling they may try to throw in charges for the images/video because he's gone not guilty and they're struggling to attribute the evidence to him but they can swivel. The barrister said the prosecution will say the video reflects an interest in minors, good luck to anyone with the skills to put that one in an argument!

Thanks guys, it is so confusing and messy isn't it?! I noticed on the original charge sheet all of the charges were numbered like 1-8 if and numbers (not accurate) 3,5 and 7 were missing so I think they put the images to the CPS and they declined. It's quite clear from the forensics report the origin of the images and the intended use being humour but it's not something I find humourous! We'll see what the barrister comes back with as I've mentioned lots of things that should give her ammo for a good defence statement. If not, she's getting the sack.
