Bitterbean, I'm so sorry! Hopefully they will come around in time. I agree, society seems to be obsessed with branding people and have no intention of trying to understand or look at things from a different perspective and it's awful how partners and family members are looked at negatively for wanting to be supportive xx

Social services have made me feel exactly like that. The arrest led to my husband confessing a drug addiction to me, I am trying to support him through that recovery as well as this. SS seem to think that I can't protect my kids from the possible risk that their father is and support him at the same time, even though he is not living with us and does not have unsupervised contact.
