Hi not been on here much, just a update my OH got the knock last August for having a conversation with a police decoy involving young children, police have found nothing on his phone or laptop or any other devices.
we have been to court (magistrates ) twice as they don’t know what charges to charge him, charged him with the wrong charge so had to go crown court to say plea(not guilty) as he said it was just a fantasy chat which he states that he doesn’t believe the person to be real
since getting all the evidence that the police had on him two conversations and a telephone call we have noticed there is a 20 min missing from the conversation where my OH says that they say something that confirmed that they were just having a chat.
Our children have been beaten up 4 times as it has been put in the paper 2 different charges and saying when he had to be in court and was not at court at all, we have lost a lot of friends and family through this.
Anyway it looks like we are near the end now as we are at court next week (fingers crossed ) has anyone been through the same and could help on a outcome.
also it has been a joke from the start of it not getting things correct in court, not seeing him when he had to go back to the police station. CPS not sending the correct paper work, solicitors well let’s just say don’t know what we are paying for, saying we are due in court the day we get the post.

I think it's the absolute worst when people pick on the children of offenders or accused. It's such a low thing to do.
I hope the court hearing went OK - the legal system seems to be stuck in the dark ages and there seems to be a lot of problems with hearings being set and then people not being ready, so it all gets adjourned. Of course this simply adds to the stress of the the accused and their families
Hoping you are OK.

Hi Bob
It breaks my heart to hear of what your children are going through and having to face. It's so unfair and wrong. Makes me so angry that people think they have the right to be violent towards others/your children. They should be arrested.
I hope you and your children are coping as best as you can. All of us here are in the same boat unfortunately all thanks to our OH's.
take care x
