Might be helpful for some..

The police don't mark your passport to the SO register so unless the police flag you as dangerous to Interpol (for massive crimes like murder or terrorism) but it's always best to ask... If the country visited doesn't have access to the UK police database, as an example Asian countries like Japan ... It should be okay

We are currently in Mexico, Supervising officer reassured us everything would be ok and no markers are on my sons passport he can travel any where that doesn't need a visa

That's good to know, as the place I want to go doesn't require a visa but does take finger print for terrorism reasons have fun !
