A new beginning - Hope

Hi
I want to post this to try and bring hope to all of you that are In a dark place wondering worrying scared even and that sometimes there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Whatever your stories are and Whatever your decisions are if you stay with your partners if you hold on long enough.
My journey started 2 years ago...we first had the knock in the middle of the night. The police entered our house took devices scared my then 9 year old daughter out of her mind.
Things are not what they seem and motives were not what the police say they were but you are still treated the same way. My husband was still guilty to a degree of what he was eventually charged with. Making taking and sharing indecent images. We went through 2 solicitors, a magistrates hearing a crown court hearing countless social workers which was the worst thing. Child Protection plan child in need plan..2 years of living apart But we stayed our ground and stuck by our story. Now my husband is home full time and there are no social services.
He recieved a 2 years suspended sentence and is completing the Horizon course. I did the Lucy Faithful course for partners and a course in safeguarding online.
He was very lucky to avoid prison according to our solicitor and we had steps in place ready for this and a bag packed. Due to the nature of our case we managed to avoid the local papers too for the sake of our daughter.
We have visits from the Visor team and he is now down to monthly probation meetings.
But for those that are waiting it can and will get easier and there is light at the tunnel and if you want to build a new life you can do.

This was just what I needed to hear tonight. <3 thank you.
It sounds like it's been a tough two years but it sounds like you've done very well to have him back home and trying to resume as normal as possible in that time compared to others. This definitely gives me hope for the future of my family unit, at a time where I think I'm feeling the worse (6 months in and word already getting round our street). Thank you xxx

Turtle, that is brilliant. It's lovely to see some light in such a dark place.
Nice to hear turtle . Glad it's worked out . Can I ask how you managed to keep it out of the media if you don't mind xx
So glad you got your husband home. Has given me hope after a stressful day with social worker doing there monthly visit.
