Hi

Those of you who are having therapy yourselves, did you seek a specialist through LFF or Stop SO etc, or have you gone with a general, local therapist?

I am involved with LFF and Stop So xx

I'm also on the waiting list to go back to my local area CBT therapist for a top up.

Stop So have a website that is very accessible and they are brilliant, as are LFF xx

Thank you both.

Daffodil, 2 of my 3 children have ASD. I'm really struggling with SS who don't seem to take this in to consideration. I try so hard to explain how change in routine can impact them, but SS just do not listen or want to adapt for my children's needs.

My 17 hates people in our home, even other family members, so SS visits are very traumatic for her. Because she masks (as ASD girls do) the SW does not see the stress these visits cause her.

My little boy, 7, reverts to baby like behaviour when the SW is here so what they expect to get from him is beyond me.
