This week has been especially tough. Two people in villages close two ours have been convicted of crimes similar to my partners (possession of iioc) and both have been plastered all over Facebook and both were forced to leave their homes due for their own safety due to riots from people in the village. It's really shaken us up as we know my partner will be getting his charges back from CPS soon. My partner will be moving out as soon as we've received charges, he'll be going back to live with family over 3 hours away so will be well away from the area when it eventually goes into the media after court but we're still terrified people will target me and my family and our family home even without him being here, especially after seeing what happened to the men who were convicted around us. Seeing the way people react to these convictions in person is absolutely terrifying, especially when you know it could be happening to you soon.

Really made my anxiety and worry 100 times worse.

I'm so sorry. This makes everything so much worse.

I torture myself several times a week by looking for cases... I've even made myself familiar with the reporter who seems to report these offenses (not personally!! His online presence) so that I can spot him if the time comes.

It's obsessive and I'm fully aware!

Why must these cases be thrown about the place? They are not 'cut and dry' cases like other crimes.

Sheesh.

Sending love. X
