So today is the first year since the second knock, a year since my son was last home with us ;-(
Kept on remand for 7 months then moved after his sentancing

Smile my son also has an extended license
He can apply for parole in 4 yrs 2 months if denied he has to serve 8 yrs then on licence for another 4 yrs
It's a shit situation but we will get through it day by day xx

I to try not to think about his sentance but it's just constantly in my mind, he phoned his sister today and is an ok head space he recently got his own permanent cell so has settled a bit better,
We have a visit on the 11th we try to do 2 a month as it is a bit far from us :-(
It's so frustrating isn't it when you know they need to be kept busy but they spend so much time inside, I know my lad is trying to keep busy but when he has to much time to think is when it plays havoc with his MH xx

Upset and Smile, I honestly think yous deserve the world for how strong yous are, yous may not feel it but yous are and yous are getting through it, how fast does time go? That will be the same for your sons sentence (I know it doesn't feel like it now) I hope your sons know how lucky they are to have amazing mothers like yous Xxx

No he certainly doesn't he needs the love and support which he has, It's so hard knowing people/family don't want anything to do with your child, but that is there decision and I pray it never happens to them a I do believe unless you have been through this no one can give an opinion on why you would support your loved one. I hope they are understanding of you smile. Things will get better, they always do xxx

I know, the press thing is like ripping a plaster off, once it's off and stings for abit it's over and done with, it's the waiting ti pull it off that's worse. Xx

Yes I try to stop myself thinking what will be when he is out as I get a bit of a panic attack but then think when it comes I will be ready xx
We cannot control how things in life unfold can we? Time heals so much but this is a pitts situation to be in.

It's always good to talk about our situations each journey is so different but ours is very similar Smile xx
