Hello all,

This will be my last post for a while because I'm feeling like I'm getting sucked back into this in world and I'm trying to maintain a healthy distance from as to separate me from the crime.

I may need to look for new jobs soon due to the current climate. Most of the jobs I want may require a DBS and enhanced DBS check. Partner has been sentenced. Please note it would working in the third sector, so no businesses or such and never working with children i.e. child minder, teacher ect.

But potentially think tanks, not for profits and government organisations that work to benefit children. Although I prefer to go for jobs that avoid any type of association with children tbh but if needs must.

Wll his crime show up and what can I expect. Any resources on this would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

I work for a family charity not directly with families and had an enhanced DBS didn't show.

My employees already knew as I told them a few weeks after the knock they have been supportive.

I spoke to OIC when visiting my hub and they said it wouldn't of gone on there, has it wasn't my crime.

Unfortunately like everything else with this crime I think it depends on the police force

Thanks Anne,

If the probation officers come over then I think I'll ask them. I also know a few officers too personally so might ask them.

Hi

I was super worried about this particularly as I work with teenagers around the age that my ex was communicating with. Thankfully my dbs came back clear with absolutely no mention of any of this nightmare on it. X
