2nd interview on Wednesday

My partner is having his 2nd interview on Wednesday, we got the knock at the end of June so this seems to be moving along fast as the OIC has said they have forensically checked the phone, all we've been told is that out IP address flagged up, partner said he was on an app called KIK a few months ago and was on some groups looking at pornography, he said it's possible an image could have been sent within the group, he said he never saved anything from the app and deleted the app from his phone at least 4 months ago. God knows what happens next, he's on bail and can't live here with our 2 teenage boys, although we were all allowed to go on holiday to Turkey together and share a room !!
Sorry your here in this club noone wants to be in. When my person went in second interview his solicitor rang the day b4 and went through things with him. Make sure he has a solicitor present, he got his charges then. Two of which hecwas not guilty of and one hewas.be very carefull and its important he's completely honest with you so you know the best way to help him. We are still waiting on evidence getting sent to solicitors since second interview last Nov, so still may be a long wait. We got the knock last march. More importantly look after yourself and your boys. This is such a difficult time, reach out to your gp, a trusted friend /family member or the lff helpline. Xx
Hi Newlady, thanks for the reply, he does have a solicitor who he's meeting in the morning but up to now nobody knows anything other than the allegation against him on 'making an indecent image'. We had social services round, but after talking to us an the kids they said they didn't need to be involved, actually said they felt sorry for our family and that even they didn't think my husband was looking for indecent images, although it was possible he may of stumbled across them!! There are some real horror stories on here about how the police have treat families and the negative affects these charges have on the whole family, but also some really helpful information. We're all trying to remain positive although absolutely terrified about what tomorrow may bring. Is your husband still on bail? I'm hoping my husband can return home tomorrow, if not his solicitor said they can go to court an challenge the bail conditions.
Hey, I'm gjad you seem to have good social workers who arnt judging him or you yes he's still on bail after all this time, his barrister tried to get in contact with police about dropping bail and hut a brick wall every time. This doesn't mean it will be the same for you though honey most are on rui xx we still hvnt got evidence sent across but expecting it this week x
Hi Lee, yeah I'm just hoping and praying there is nothing on his phone, like I said he'd deleted KIK months ago and said he definitely never ever saved anything from the app, I can only believe what he's telling me up to now, he's a fantastic dad and husband, I just can't believe the situation we've found ourselves in.
Following on from this post. If someone was interviewed and police planned to hold on remand but cps said no and no charge was given, is that because there was not enough evidence OR is it that they decide to to further digging eg forensics and if they find further info roll all into one charge? I can't understand why no charge was given at the time. Or if I'm just in some strange hope that there would be no charges.
Thanks Lee. 1st interview released on bail but I believe we're planning to remand but cps wanted all evidence. Going through devices etc wait to see if 2nd interview. I just wondered why they didn't charge at 1st interview. Given police wanted to remand it would suggest there was enough evidence to charge but released on bail. Just wondered seems odd

UPDATE from 2nd interview..
as Lee suggested the 2nd interview was as a result of the phone being examined and further evidence being found! There were various different watsapp videos that they had found from groups he was in with his friends but also an old video from a family album of my youngest son naked on holiday. The OIC actually rang me at home and asked if I was aware of the video, which I was, I said we were staying at a villa at the time an potty training our son at the time, the oic was happy with the explanation. The watsapp videos were beastiality. I have no idea why men feel the need to share ridiculous things like this, but must admit I was hugely relieved that it wasn't Iioc they found, although he's still in significant trouble, he's been re bailed with the same conditions while they decide if going to be charged or not
