We had our last SW visit before our next CP Conference. She seems really happy with me & she acknowledges that my children are happy. She has even advised me on the kinds of things I should say and avoid saying at the Conference. She didn't do any of the work to find out about my children's "lived experiences" because she didn't "feel the need". The school nurse has seen all of my children and said that she has no concerns & does jot feel.she needs to be involved moving forward. Other than the obvious, the school have no safeguarding issues.

All that said, she advised me to expect to stay on CPP just because its our LA policy not to take of a CPP after 3 months. Their issue seems to be my ability supervise in the community. They have no reason to be concerned. Although I have 3 children, we usually only have 2 of them with us because of the age of my eldest who is busy studying for A Levels.

Anyhow.... my question..... should I refuse to cooperate with a CPP but tell them I will happily work with them on a CIN? The intrusion into our lives every 2 weeks is starting to really impact my mental health. They have given no support & my SW will be going on maternity leave so we will be getting a new one after the CP Conference meaning no consistency for my children. When I asked my SW this she explained the process of SS seaking legal action against me. She said that in her opinion they had no grounds to take legal action and even said "its worth the risk."

Please wise ladies...... is it worth the risk????
