Does the 'attempt' charge not exist any more?

I see your post is from last year. I think mine is in a similar position to yours. I'm just wondering if you've had an outcome yet?
Hi Suzie1980 - I'm afraid my person was sentenced to three years in prison. But please don't take that as the probable outcome for you - it seems a total lottery. The judge took zero account of mitigating factors - person had completed two respected learning/rehab courses, many many calls to the LFF helpline, completed all the LFF modules in hard copy, comprehensive (expensive) and favoirable reports from leading psycho sexual therapist, probation recommendation of community serrvice, impact (practical, emotional and financial) of family left behind, first offence of any kind, four character references, deep remorse, understood route to offending etc etc.. (deleted original post for fear of identification). Wishing you the best of luck, and strength and serenity.
