Plea hearing

Can anyone tell me if the evidence gets read out at plea hearing? Or is it sentencing? My person's plea hearing is via zoom hopefy Thursday or Fri we are both terrified but he's holding his own and being really strong for me.
Have you had the evidence from the solicitor. We got all the edvidance a week or so before the plea. And they read out a disciption off a rude cartoon . Which I found strange though they would focus of catory A images ect pick the worst . But maybe they are saving that for crown. Keep strong sending strength and hugs xx
Yeah got evidence a few weeks ago, just waiting on the evidence they didn't put across as they put the worst across to barrister. Petition is put into court for no pics of him to be released to media to safeguard the kids and me and only use his new nane so we've tried all we could . He's phych doc today via zoom. I'm not going to court or zoom plea so I juat want to prepare him for what will be said. I want to be there for him so much but I don't think my mental health coukd take much more after reading the evidence but I'm putting in character reference x thanks for your reply means a lot xx
I'm the same really I think I'm supporting him but I didn't go into the court room I was the get away driver . He said they didn't say to much read the charges and a dictubtion of one photo then asked his plea . He said it was very quick. Then it couldn't be delt with in magistrates because the probation team couldn't do there assesment they were fully booked so they said if he can be fitted in before 20th of October then it will be in crown on the 20th . Then he had 2/3 days to go to the police station and sign the register . Then the visor made an appointment to come to his house to check were he lived ect . He had the phone call from probation that done an assessment of his risk and what they recommend for sentencing that then gets sent to the judge. Now we're on the next step of planning the court trip media wise ect . We have done a name change aswell , we didn't change bank doctor's ect just took the deed poll sheet in on the day of the plea . There was no media there just hoping for the same next week :( . It's very hard to try and keep ourselves strong and them . I find it easier if he's okay when he's having a upset day I feel awfull for him . Hopefully he can stay strong and it will soon be over and we can all try and recover from this. Xxx
Yea I need to do my character reference I have no idea how to eveen start it . And do I put in on an email or right it xx
Ackk xxx we're both nearly in the same place, I don't know what I'd do with this forem and Lee is amazing. As are you! I was actually thinking the same about character reference.hes ginba wait u til barrister calls today or tommarow to see if she suggests email /hand written or typed. What I did was put character reference into the search bar at top of forem page and got lots out of it on how to write reference. I've mine finished just need to do a final draft and have barrister look over it x
Newlady, just a quick post to say hope the plea hearing goes OK. My partners was apparently very quick (I didn't go) but that was maybe because it was a not guilty plea.
We got to hear the worst descriptions at the plea hearing. I was not prepared for it. I could not speak to him after x
Tha k you all so much I remember you saying that Jay. Ive seen the evidence so I know the worst now he's doing plea via zoom so I won't be there anyway and I don't think I can go to Crown as I really don't think I'd cope seeing him getting taken away. He's agreed it would be better if I stayed at home or work if I feel about yo that day, though I doubt it.
I think it's each to their own Newlady. I wanted to be there, hear everything and be there for him, but I knew (hoped) it wouldn't be custodial. I may have felt differently if I knew he'd be going down there and then. Do what feels right for you x
Thank Jay, I k ow he's right I'm better off at home but if he doesn't get sent down I'll go pick him up, thi k it's the best thing for me now and for him, I know everything now anyway pkys he doesn't have to worry about my reaction to things. Jay you're very brave for going x
