Devastated after second knock

I never in a million years thought I'd be here again. I thought my partner had gotten all the help and things were going well.
I'm just home from hospital with a newborn baby and the police came to the door to search the house in relation to child pornography.
He was due to be sentenced soon for the original offence and I thought it was the beginning of the end. Now, in an instant, it looks like our beautiful marriage and family is over.
I'm absolutely devastated. Heartbroken. Angry. Not sure if anyone has been through something similar or has any advice.

If you can speak to husband then ask all the questions and make it clear you need honesty. You are a brave woman for getting this far in the first place. X

Oh Allie, I am so sorry you are going through this again. There are a couple of users on here who have had the second knock who may be able to give you some advice. It must have been so traumatic for that to happen again. Thinking of you xx

Can I ask if he is still under investigation could it be they had found more evidence or is this another incident? Not that it makes any difference but my son was RUI from the first know bit then they had more evidence so we had a second knock x

The timing is so cruel, being hormonal and sleep deprived with a newborn. Thankfully the baby is doing really well.
I'm getting good support from my parents and parents in law and a close friend. Seeing my gp next week.

I'm so sorry to hear this :( thoughts and hugs sent your way . I found out the day I was pregnant my baby's now 6 months old and nearly at the final hurdal . It's so hard doing everything alone and the most happy times are ruined by this . Look after yourself . I'm here if you need a talk xx

I keep trying to live in the moment and concentrate on keeping myself and baby fed / just focus on the basics but it's very hard.
Every little thing reminds me of the happy home life we had only a few days ago and what we should have right now.

I am glad you have some good support around you and baby is doing well
Make the most of the support and try and get some rest when you can easily said than done but you need to give yourself some much needed you time also, hugs xx
