I really think it depends on the case. I heard from my person's solicitor 45 minutes after the last message from my person. His case was due to be heard at 11am. He sent me his last message at 11.15am. I heard from the solicitor at midday.
Thinking of you. It's horrible.
Have you put anything in place to find out the outcome?

I am not prepared if it's jail. Like at all his flat the bills the car everything :(
I think in the Law Page you can look at what is happening very high level at the court. When cases start. When they finish etc.
I'd been watching them a few days before to see if I'd be able to see that way. I couldn't on the day as I was driving home.
This time really is truly horrendous. I hope you hear from him or someone really soon. Have you been involved with his solicitors at all?

If it is jail you will find a way to sort everything that needs to and we'll all be here for you to emotionally help and offer practical advise where we can. It doesn't need to be done right away.
I know it's a grim day. But maybe go out for a walk, stay local so you can get home quickly.

We are going to be in this position in a couple of weeks and I'm already trying to work out how I will get through the day. I'm off work and need to support our adult daughter as her mental health has taken a huge nosedive through this whole process. I wouldn't want to leave her alone. Absolutely dreading it. Hope all went as well as it could/can xx
Oh my. So happy he's home. What a relief.
Life feels over
I'm not sure whether you are expecting custodial, but knowing my person's solicitor would call me made things a lot easier.
We asked her before hand and made sure she had my number in her phone.

That's good news he's home. I don't know about media, it seems to vary. Here the police sometimes supply a photo but I can't imagine they would report it again, just to add photo.
