Short bail extension

So my OH had to return to the police station yesterday. The OIC rang him an hour or so before and said he had extended the bail till mid December.
Im confused why they've only extended just over a month. I keep seeing extensions of a few months at a time not just over a month.
Anyone else had this?

My husband had his bail extended twice for around a month each time, then he was RUI about a week or so ago. Not sure why he was RUI instead of bailed extended again, no idea if they've checked his phone yet or anything.
I hate the feeling of being left in limbo having no idea what is gonna to happen.

I don't know if it will be with cps now because we're only 4 weeks in and they only sent the stuff to forensics 2 weeks ago

My oh had 2 1 month extensions then it went to 3 months instead. From what I remember oic said after two months they can only apply for 3/6 months

To second something Daffodil said; the extension paperwork from the police is brutal. It is not written to be a novel, it is harsh, to the point and uses language alongside your person's name that you might not be ready to see.
Try to read objectively and with purpose.

I'm hoping they post it out to us soon. Feel in limbo yet again I know that's a common reoccurring theme in this forum but honestly I think it's one thing that causes so much anguish
