Hi,

Hope you are doing all ok. My husband has his first interview with the police soon as they informed the solicitor that they had found things on the device. Will the solicitor know before the interview what evidence they have? Nobody has explained what will happen at the interview. Will he have to give them a plea there and then before speaking with the solicitor? Sorry for the ramble. Thank you.

Do you mean second interview? The one after all devices come back?

Hi,

My husband seems to be different from everyone here in regards to this. So when the knock happened we weren't at home we were both at work. The police entered our house (not sure how this was done but it left a mark on the door) they took away devices and left a card to call which he did. This was in April 2021. He has never been arrested for this or interviewed. Devices have now come back with something found but this will be his first interview. Sorry for rant. Thank you for your help.

Ok gotcha.

Well my husband's first interview was basically taken away after the knock waited ages for a rubbish solicitor and just agreed to what he had done.

His second interview was after evidence had come back they tried getting him to admit to more but his new decent solicitor seemed to think they didn't have much and to go no comment throughout. They gave a discripton of a few images they had found. His solicitor got given the information just before the meeting and they had a quick chat about what to do. Took about half hour then it went to cps

I hope that makes sense and helps. Just make sure a solicitor is present

Thank you scared and confused. That has maybe made my mind a wee bit easier. The solicitor will be with him which is a good thing. The feeling of being anxious seems to never to away. Even after all this time still can't believe it.

No problem I think I actually asked the same question a few months ago. Our journey started June 21 and he had his second interview in August charges last month magistrates 2 weeks ago and crown in 3 weeks time it's all come around very fast after waiting so long with no information. I hope everything goes ok for you x

The solicitor got given the evidence at the station half an hour prior to the interview where he sat with partner and went through it, and decided how to proceed x
