I came across a series on Radio 4 - Addicted to Sex. It from 2018 so may have been mentioned before. Three of the episodes come at it from a man's perspective, the escalation, the cheating, the compartmentalising, risky behaviour, exploring sexual desires that are not their preference.

I thought it might be helpful to those who've discovered their partners sex and porn addiction as part of this journey and are struggling to reconcile it against the man they know.

There is also a episode from the wife's perspective.

The whole series is around questioning whether sex addition is an actual thing.
