Hi, has anyone got any recommendations for books that may help our understanding or how to cope with all this?

Hi LilyRose84,

If you search "books" using the searchbar in the top right, it will bring up all the books that have been listed in the forum as part of different discussions. I'm not sure if all users are aware of this function but it's the most efficent way of retrieving information. Hope this helps you. x

Hi I'm reading a book by Robert Weiss. It's called Sex addiction 101. He has a lot of videos on YouTube which I found brilliant if you wanted to watch some of them first. He speaks about porn and sex addiction and runs his own rehabilitation centre in America, he was an addict himself and then trained professionally to help others

I'm reading Dopamine Nation, explains a lot about how addictions and desensitisation. I'd also recommend the Paula Hall books - there's one on the partner's perspective. Also The Porn Trap and Your Brain on Porn

Thanks Ruby, I've looked at the Paula hall ones, some of them are so expensive but valuable I hope. I'll look at the addiction one aswell, thank you. I feel I need to look into it all so much as it's not just black and white while people think. And to help me cope really! Xxx
