Hello lovelies.

So hubby has been carrying out his community order and doing his online work. About halve way through now. Online stuff is a bit tricky he says.

So had his normal 2 weekly with his probation officer and after a test he did they have now downgraded him from high risk to medium risk.

Small victory xx

Great to hear! Definitely have to celebrate these positive moments, hope you have something nice planned.

Can I ask what the risk is that's been downgraded? Is it the risk of harm that's on the Oasys assessment? How long has it been since sentencing?

That's great news.

I've a couple of question that you or someone might be able to ask.

Are meetings POs normally this regular?

How often do the reaccess the risk?

Did his PSR grade him as high risk? Or was he graded as this on something else?

Hi Sal,

I think, like with everything on this journey, it varies from person to person. My person had weekly visits for the first few months and is now on monthly. His risk was stated by the judge, unsure if this was taken from the psr as I wasn't in court and haven't seen the report. The risk in my persons case is of significant harm. He has had an Oasys assessment done and was told by his PO that he is due an arms assessment but someone posted to say this is supposed to be a living document so essentially completed at every appointment with PO and visor (offender manager). I hope this helps in some way xxx

Hiya ladies.

Thank you for responding to my post.

My hubby has been visited 3 times by his visor team which I have been involved in. Lots of questions.

He went from having weekly meetings with probation to fortnightly meetings. Same questions etc.

He asked his visor team what level he was on and they said high which he also said to probation. He had a hour meeting with probation and lots of questions and some about our relationship etc.

Hence he went back this week and they have assested him and now dropped down to medium.

Any other questions I will try and help with.

xx
