Hi guys,

Husband is having his first meeting with police after signing sor. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Me and the girls won't be here as it's little ones play but did I read somewhere that they may look around the house?

My oh visor randomly turned up two of them. I stood speaking to the one while oh main person spoke to him took details of any devices and that was about it he then went to the station about a week later for a sort of risk assessment because our children were in the house when they visited. We're now past sentencing and his got to go have the monitor stuff put on in a few weeks time x

So they don't look around house etc? He had his parole hearing yesterday she has said she's trying to keep it suspended or community (hopefully community) and sentencing on the 15/12 I believe it's staying in magistrates. Just hate being in the position of not knowing what to expect. He signed sor and was given no paperwork saying what restrictions he needed to follow. It's almost like they think everyone has done this before.

Nobody looked around the house one was in living room one was in kitchen. But I have heard some on here say they look everywhere so I guess it's personal choice or maybe a different visit. My oh is suspended and community I think it's normally both obviously depends on circumstances and depends on the judge and what probation have put in the report. Magistrates can only give out a 12 month custodial from what I understand. Our solicitor luckily got us to crown instead because there's more training there. With the sor oh just had paperwork to say it was signed and he had to stick to bail conditions until sentencing then after that happened he got given his sor t&c

My husband hasn't been on bail since dec 2021. Were just following safety plan still. Not sure how we're suppose to follow something when they don't even tell us what the rules are. Hopefully this officer can clear it up for us. He said he felt a bit more positive after speaking to the probation lady. It's been a long year and a half so hoping after the 15th we can get on with our lives although I have been informed on here that ss will be back which I am definitely not looking forward to. The last one ignored everything I had said when doing his risk assessment and then denied I even told her anything when I confronted her as to why my information was not included. I'm also dreading breaking it to my girls that ss will be back, they hated every minute of it

I'd just stick to what you have in place then. We're confused with certain things with having conditions put in place after sentencing they don't give any help with stuff. Have they mentioned any possibility of it being put back to after Christmas my oh was told he was lucky as most cases of this sort were being postponed and I've read a few on here lately too. Luckily my children are really young and haven't questioned it. But we've also had SS involved for the last 18 months and can't wait for them to close the case
