We had the plea hearing today via zoom for my person-all very quick and he didn't have to give an address.

Now gone to sign the register so how soon after this can we expect a visit from the visor team ?

I am feeling very anxious and sick now and he is in a terrible state.

I have PSTD from the trauma of the knock and treatment by the police and just can't bear the thought of them coming to the house.

I just keep thinking if I wasn't here then all this would go away .

My person did the visor meeting when he signed the sor, that was months ago now and no more visurs, just a few phone calls and it was him ringing fir advice. He's in a hostel so maybe this is why, he just walked in straight after plea. I know the sick feeling well but try to give yourself a, wee break from all this xx

Seaside, please reach out to someone or call the helpline.

You've coped so far with all these horrible things, you have done so well. That you are here and still supporting your OH is commendable and you have shown incredible strength.

I am very worried about you, please order a takeaway and get under a warm blanket and give yourself a break tonight xx

My husband had his visor meeting about a week after he signed sor at station. He contacted my husband to book a time and day for him to come over which was quite nice rather than him just coming round out of the blue. My husband said he was really friendly and was nothing like the police on the knock.

My husband had his the day following signing of SOR. They wanted to check where he was living. He isn't living at home and we were away anyway so i don't have first hand knowledge of it but he said they were fine, very reasonable.

My oh signed sor but at like 8am in the morning and nobody was In at time. Visor popped around the house the evening after my oh doesn't live with us at the moment but it was only address they had.they chatted because the children were around she booked him in about two weeks later at station and sorted the rest. Then his spoke to her a few times since and going next week to get the software put on his phone. I've got PTSD from it all too and slightest noise or anyone outside anything sets me off but his visor and the other man were both really nice and answered any questions also I can contact them at anytime if I feel I need to not just my oh

We are now 4 weeks since plea hearing and have sentencing at the end of the month.

My person went to sign the register on the day of the plea hearing but we have not had a visit from the Visor team yet or heard anything from them-is this normal procedure or should we be concerned?

The police officer who took his details stated that he wasn't experienced in these matters so I am worried that it wasn't done correctly

My person did the same. Went straight down signed it and apart from his visor manager chasing psr for him he hasn't heard or seen them. His plea was in November. Solicitor said its because he's low risk and hell probably only see them I ce or twice a year. He's in a hostel so they said if they need him they'll call him to go down. Big hugs xx

Thank you we haven't had any communication from the Visor manager-waiting on Probation to get in contact regarding the PSR as well.

Did you receive any paperwork after signing the register to prove that it had been done ?

This waiting is horrible.

I don't know if they always get in contact after plea. My person wasn't contacted between plea and sentencing from the visor team. He was contacted by the PO for the PSR.

Has his solicitor chased for the PSR date?

Thanks Sal-yes the solicitor is chasing up the PSR .

I think I'm panicking because of the sentencing date approaching and not coping with the situation

We didn't hear from anyone other than PO who was doing the PSR between plea and sentencing. Did your person get a slip off police as proof he has signed it?
don't worry if not - my partner only released this was a thing after his visor said he hadn't given his bank details which he had, so he had to go back to the station and get a slip as proof he had. Every time you sign, every change you make, make sure you get your copy slip x

I wonder if it would help put your mind at rest of you were to go back to the station and check the registration happened and ask for some proof?

Sal -that might possibly help but I couldn't do it myself because I have PTSD following the knock and my treatment by the Police and I feel sick and terrified even seeing a police car on the television.

Seaside I don't think he had anything paper work wise no, he did hand over bank details etc, he offered to get ewupitment on his phone and she was shocked, apparently have it but never use it especially if low risk. I found that strange. I'd get him to call them just to keep himself right and also call or email barrister to keep him . Right

Thanks Newlady -he informed the solicitor immediately after he signed the register so she has it on record that it was done.

He's speaking with the solicitor today so he will check that everything is in order.
