Christmas Wishes & Thoughts

Today I went shopping and spent the afternoon wrapping the presents I brought for my Daughter, her partner and my eldest son, and it felt good
This time last year xmas was filled with tears and sadness as my offending son was on remand (awful remand prison) this year he is settled in a SO prison, he has his own cell, his own space and he is ok , we don't send xmas cards as it doesn't feel right but I send him some extra money to his prison account and some to his savings account (I opened this up for him so he will have some money when he is home)
We have a visit xmas eve with his brother coming with us 1st time they will have seen each other for over a year
What more could I wish for
I will hug him tightly, one for me but also an extra tight hug for each one of you that are in the same situation as me xx
This journey is horrendous as each one of us know
We are all at different stages but yet we have found strength, empathy, understanding in people we have never met but have found friends
So to each and everyone of you amazing people I want to send love and strength and wishes to you all this Christmas

This my second Christmas on own with my little son...no update..no devices check...even ss was contact with me last time in August (we are on CIN plan) I am filling hopeless ,tired,scared and lonely...15 months after the knock ...

Bless you hun it's an awful journey to be in and I cant imagine how hard it is to have a young baby and feel alone

Totally agree with what you have said, I to feel so fortunate I cant even begin to understand how hard it is for the ladies who have young children going through this they are amazing and strong and my heart really does go out to them xx

Upset thank you I'm feeling a bit better now I think it was the delayed reaction to the plea hearing that sent me into a bit of a downward spiral but I know that I have to stay strong for my son.
He is trying so hard to stay positive and as the solicitor has pointed out he has done everything he possibly can to address his behaviour so hopefully that will count in his favour.
I hope you had a good visit with your son and I'm sure that your love and support means so much to him .
