Will they come for a second arrest?

Hi,
as some of you know, my husband has been released under investigation for making/distributing indecent images on KIK (arrest in July 22).
I am just wondering once the evidence is in, will they come round to arrest him for a second time?
His solicitor said that he asked the police to get in touch with him and he would then inform my husband to attend the police station. He said it's unlikely for his type of offense that they will arrest him for a second time, but that there's no guarantee.
What is anyone else's experience?
I am hugely traumatised by the knock and I am so scared it will happen again.

Hi, my OH was also arrested in July 2022 for making and distributing on kik. From what I've read on here I think that the police can send charges by post or directly to your solicitor and then a second interview at the police station is arranged.
The waiting is traumatising!

Hi hpl,
I don't think they will arrest again unless a different crime was uncovered from forensics. It's likely they will just call him and ask him to go in for a chat or volunteer interview if anything is found - it's important he has a solicitor for this! Once that has taken place, assuming evidence has been found, the transcripts of both interviews along with evidence from forensics and investigation will be sent to the CPS for them to decide whether to charge. The charges will then come by post, delivered by the officer or he'll be asked to collect them.

Hi hpl111,
My ex partner was also arrested for Kik offences. When police had evidence back they went to the house and asked him to come in for a second interview, from there they said they were sending their evidence to CPS.
Sending you love & light

Hi, my husband was also Arrested in July 2022 for iioc on kik this app really needs banning!! Also found out he is bisexual and cheated on me with men, I can't talk to anyone about it as I just feel so humiliated.
my husband is also Rui after being bailed twice, we've had ss but they closed our case after 2 visits. Iv found this all so traumatic, the worse thing is waiting for the next bit to happen and not actually knowing what our outcome will be.
he was originally arrested at work which resulted in him being suspended and eventually being forced to resign. He has just managed to get a new job so I'm so worried about when his second interview will be and if they will arrest him again.
