Will it ever end?

Hello, my son got the knock last July and is still on bail as I have grandchildren. All his offences are online only as he didn't think it was 'real', he would never have taken it into the real world and I believe him. He has since done everything possible to help himself like therapy and calling stopitnow. He has come a long way and is a different person now. He is trying to get a job but the police keep saying he has to tell his employers which is making it difficult for him as he doesn't want to tell them. My question is, will he always have to tell his employer? Or is it just because he is on bail? I feel there is no end to this and it will always be about and stopping him from living his life.
thank you for any advice

Hi,
There are employers who don't ask about unspent convictions. Post sentencing he should be able to get a job at one of these places without disclosure. The key thing is making sure his SHPO is inline with his offending. My person has only internet based restrictions on his and has found a nights job with Asda as they don't ask. Visor and probation both support this as no under 18s directly work with him and the store is closed for most of his shift.
He had a long road to get to this point as his first probation officer told him he needed to disclose at interviews even if the question wasn't asked. There are ban the box companies and unlock may be beneficial for information whilst on bail. Is there anything specific in his bail conditions about employment? I know some police forces may come down heavy while on bail but I'd tell him to seek advice as only the bail conditions and later SHPO are legally enforceable xxx

Hello, thanks for the reply. His bail says he can't be alone with anyone under the age of 18.
