Cancelling Car insurance and tax

I'm unsure how to go about cancelling OHs insurance and tax he's got no paperwork with the information on as it was all online and I've checked his emails and can't find anything
does anyone know how to go about getting it cancelled if you're not the policy holder?

My hubby rung everything in advance and put my name to cancel or put changes in place but we was also told that he would be able to sort it from prison I think they should be allowed a certain amount of phone calls to put stuff in place with companies/solicitors ect x
We should of done that because it's proving a big pain! He's got emails with all his details on but I can't see how to go about cancelling it. Hopefully if we cant, he can from his side fingers crossed

You could maybe try and cancel the direct debits so no payments get taken and then when they contact explain and hopefully in that time he can contact them or give you more information to help you cancel them x
