When our home was searched my husband was already under arrest and not present at our home. I was present along with our daughter. The police said they would send a list of the property taken but never did. It's now time to collect and they are being absolute ( insert appropriate expletive here). They are saying we need to check if another party can collect your husbands items, his solicitor isn't responding blah blah blah

I've contacted his solicitor who says no they haven't at all. Absolute liars!! Solicitor sending an email to officer in charge. I've emailed back to say as it was me that was present and the property taken was not soley my husbands I am confused as to why I am unable to collect the property.

I will never trust another police officer as long as I live. Rant over now breathe xxx

Hi,

They did the same with my property. My person had to collect it, I know this isn't an option for you. Apparently it's to do with how the seizing officer logs the property, they're supposed to list each item separately stating who in the house it belongs to but they rarely do. I hope they resolve this for you quickly xxx

We are in the same situation as you-they took all my son's devices (which I understand )but also took 2 computers which he never had access to -both brand new Apple Mac's so we had the expense of having to buy a new computer for work purposes .

We weren't given a list of the items taken at the time and in the police report they lied about what was taken.

Every time we phone the OIC is conveniently not available...I'm not going to let this go through because I'm damned if they're going to keep them and sell them on .

Rant over now !!
