SW has emailed this morning to say the following my OH sentencing, the LA are seeking legal advise on how to move forward.
Apparently he has been assessed as high risk by probation.
Anyone been in a similar situation?
I know that probation had been given false allegations by SS.

He spoken to probation and his Visor team, they have said that anyone who goes on SOR who has children of their own would initially be considered high risk until they start to work with the authorities and that its continually reassessed.
The children are on a child protection plan. I have stuck to all the rules, but I have not been an easy "client". Two of my children have neurodiversity so I'm very conscious of the impact that this can have on them. I haven't allowed duty SW to visit when the SW my children knows in unavailable, I complained that they issued us with a heavily pregnant SW to start with even though they know that children with ASD take time to build relationships and struggle with change and I have not allowed unannounced visits as my daughter struggles with people in the house so needs time to process.

@confused
As the parent of a neurodiverse young woman I completely empathise with your choices. Your priority is maintaining a functioning family dynamic and I don't see that as you being difficult at all. You are looking after your children's welfare which is far more complex where neurodivergence is involved.
As my daughter regularly says ' this is obviously a them problem not a you problem' xx

Confused and worried, I admire you for not allowing unannounced visits and that you put your foot down. If you haven't gone against the child protection plan, I don't understand why they are seeking legal advice?
Hi confused,
my oh was initially assessed as high risk by probation, same reason, it's what they do for people with this offence.
but at their first review he got lowered to medium risk, his po and visor have always been incredibly supportive of him and our wish to be a family.
in September ss did an assessment that said my oh was high risk and because I wouldn't separate and stop contact they sought legal advice.
from this legal advice they took us to PLO, while this was horrible and terrifying-it was actually the best thing. Us/our solicitors said we needed an independent risk assessment. This took place, the result being my oh does not pose a risk and he moved home last week

Thank you all for your comments.
GZ, I wonder if SS do this to avoid being the ones to make the decision?!? I read your recent post, I've been thinking about it all day, it's the only thing that has kept me going. Thank you x

I think that's absolutely it, they don't want to manage risk. If someone else has made a decision for them, they follow it.
you've had so much strength up til now, only you will know if you have more in there. But it can happen xx
